It looks like the new Zelda game (LoZ: Skyward Sword) is going to be out in 2011, whoo! I'm excited for that! Granted... it's obviously going to be cell shading, which will be interesting. I was doubtful about Wind Waker and that being cell shading, but when I actually played that game, OMG it was so damn awesome!

So I will definitely be hopeful that this will be yet another awesome Zelda game ♥

In other news. It looks like I'll be heading to see The Room on Saturday night with gummical, zuish and a bunch of other people. It should be... interesting... considering that The Room is said to be one of the worst movies of all time and has now become a cult favourite. Despite how bad it is, the movie's been out in cinema's for 6 years or something... so that's pretty impressive lol Also they (apparently) sell plastic spoons for people to throw at the screen it's that bad >_>

It should be fun! Anyway, I should probably head to bed. Gott'a get up early to do a few things and all =\

I made it back safely to Adelaide aaaaaaaand my home net is finally connected and I've gone wireless, yay for wireless! It's probably working at 90% right now since I can't figure out why my laptop and iTouch won't connect to the wireless while my netbook does =\ .... I think that's a problem for my brother to fix at some point >_>

So, I've been home for a little over a week. My sisters went back home on Friday, and my parents leave back for Florida tomorrow. It will be... interesting, to say the least.

Oh well, I'll just have to focus on my next goal and ignore any unpleasantry going on around me \o/

In TV news, I watched episode 1 of Season 4 of Burn Notice. So far it looks pretty good... I should probably get around to watching the first two season since my parents sucked me into watching the damn thing -sighs- DAMN INTRIGUING PLOTS! I'm glad that it started so early as well. I wasn't expecting Burn Notice to come back on until the same time as White Collar and Psych (which both start up mid-July this year--- YAY! It's about damn time that it started early again)

It looks like it's going to be another interesting season, and damn having to wait until the next episode -shakes fist of DOOM at it-

Oh oh! I met with gummical in the city on Friday night to grab some dinner at BBQ City man I love that place before we went over to Toys R Us for the Pokemon event there. I was so bummed that I couldn't get Jirachi at the US event because my Pokemon games were in Vancouver while I was down in Tampa at the time, and by the time HeartGold and SoulSilver were released, the Jirachi event had finished the day earlier =\ So luckily Australia is behind the times in that respect, since I brought all but one of my Pokemon games (I couldn't find my Diamond /sad face) to Toys R Us and got Jirachi uploaded. Whoo! So now I have four shiny new Jirachi's \o/

It was an awesome night. We checked out Pulp where gummical stopped me from buying Volume 6 of Silver Diamond... damn yooooou! I'll get it one day before heading down to karaoke. One of the most awesome things about that night... gummical's bus home is right next to mine /dies of happiness. I usually never have anyone to talk to while waiting for my bus, but now I do, whoo! I thought that it was a most epic discovery ♥

I had a few other things I wanted to put on here, but I can't remember them right now... so... I guess this makes this post rather useless XD;;
So I'm at the airport now. We left early just incase there was traffic, but typically there wasn't. I can't say that I'm that surprised. The ticketing line was non-existent as well, no surprise either, but I am a little annoyed that my damn luggage can't be checked through passed stupid LAX. So that means that I have to pick up my luggage at the LA airport and cart it over to the international area - that's not going to be fun, that's for sure.

I'm not mentally ready for this flight back home, but there is little choice to the matter... I've been dreading it since before I left Canada...

Anyway. I'll be without net for about two weeks. Not looking forward to that, but I'm hoping that I'll be able to leech off of somewhere until I get it. For now, though, it looks like I'll be signing off.

May. 19th, 2010

So it seems that my psoriasis is acting up again. That's nothing but a pain in the ass given that it's starting to blotch along my forehead -sighs-

Hopefully the cream I've got sends it far away.

At least it's only appearing on my forehead and it's not acting up on my scalp - that's something, at least. I hate it when it flares up there--- not that the forehead's that much better, given that it's more on view, but still =\

Oh well, there's nothing I can do about it other than taking care of it XD;; and I should be heading to bed.

May. 16th, 2010

I really need to stop having so many damn late nights. It's getting ridiculous, seriously.

Anyway! Pointless post will be pointless.

First off the agenda: my knee is finally starting to feel better. I whacked it on the couch on Thursday while I was running to get the phone. Did some wonderful damage to it as well and it left me in quite a bit of pain to the point where I felt like I was going to be physically sick. I iced it, of course, to take care of the swelling, and then my sister suggested putting a heat pack over the area over night to see if that would help. It did, surprisingly, and I only had to deal with half of the pain during Friday. Today it's just a little stiff and tender to the touch, but it should be good as new in a couple more days time.

I don't know why I keep hurting the same damn knee. It's the third major time I've done something to it in the last 15 years. I guess a major-type injury every 5 years isn't so bad... and does that mean that the next one would be around 2015? lulz

Secondly: I have 1.5 weeks left before I fly back to Australia.

Lastly: Um.. there was a lastly, but I don't remember it. I should just go to bed though since it's 4am and I'm almost getting to the point where I'm beyond tired.

So, for a lack of something better to watch before going to bed at the hotel, I decided to try out an episode of the Life Series (which is narrated by Oprah). What a huge disappointment that was! I didn't have any interest in watching it in the first place because it was narrated by Ophra (like, seriously? -rolls eyes at her-), but did so only out of sheer boredom.

I watched it and put up with the narration until the end... and as they do a short snippet of 'how they made that episode'... my greatest disappointment set it.

IT WAS ALL FAKE! I mean... WHAT THE FUCKIN' HELL? It's a documentary about nature, so what do they do so they can get the 'best shot ever'? They go out and film a location with one camera, then use it as a backdrop for a green screen to recreate the scene inside a controlled area.

The plants might have been alive in the shots that were all merged together, but that's just it... the different footage was combined to make one to give the illusion that all of this happened out in real life. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but I sit down to watch a nature documentary because it has been filmed out in nature and shows it as what it is. So what's the point in even considering a nature documentary as anything credible when quite a number of the scenes are filmed within a controlled environment? Yes the episode I watched was to do with plants, but it's the same principle whether it's with plants or animals.

Anyway... that's enough of my rant... and I should really go to bed. 5am is not a good time for my mind to be active. So I think it's definitely bedtime for me >_>

Gott'a catch 'em all~~ POKEMON!

So this:

Would have to be the most disturbing pokemon image I've seen in a while lulz. I was looking to see how many PP Whitney's Milktank and came across it. Aaaa pokemon - how I love thee~!

I've started Heart!Gold now (and obviously have just defeated the third gym XD; ) and I'm training up a bulbasaur (pistachio), charmander (Flamegrilld), mareep (Satay Lamb), kadabra(Kebab), dratini (Sushi), and a kabuto (Calamari). I decided to go with a food-theme with this round and it's amusing me to no end not to mention it makes me hungry =\

Well, I better get back to it ♥

How you can get upset over a damn Space Station getting blown up... it's beyond me =\

I have to admit... I got some dust in my eye during this moment. Damn stupid dust. It always gets in your eye when you don't want it to.

I love Babylon 5... I have ever since it was released back in the early 90's... and I think I will continue to love it ♥

So I decided to change my profile and journal layout. Nothing fancy, but I had grown tired of the previous one and felt like a change. Very exciting.

It's taken me a while to get the motivation to put these few photos up. My parents had a friend over from Australia and I took some photos while we travelled to Sarasota.

Photos under hereCollapse )

I hope everyone's having a good Easter break.

...I was going to say something else, but I can't remember what it was...
