I finally managed to catch up on some of my manga buying the other day. I scored Shin Petshop of Horros vol.3 for myself, and also volume 1 of Kyou Kara Maou. I had to read the new PSoH volume first though - since I love that series to absolute bits and pieces. All I can say is that I totally wasn't disappointed. Count D was still his fantastic self, and I really liked the plots for each of the chapters in this volume even if there is a distinct lack of Leon in the series D:. I think the chapter about the bird flu was my favourite. Not only did I really like the underlying meaning in the plot, but D's reaction from beginning to end was fantastic to the point where you were smirking with him at the end of the chapter. The only downside of this release? Well that would have to be the fact that I NOW HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL MAY NEXT YEAR TO GET THE NEXT DAMN VOLUME!
GAH!
Why couldn't they release them faster? T____T It will be hard to go 7 month'ish without my PSoH fix... it's just lucky that the next Genju no Seiza will be coming out in December... so that will keep me happy for a little while longer.
Now! My verdict on the first KKM manga. I was a little hesitant to get it to be quite honest. I didn't like the way the anime had been translated into English, but they did a great job with the manga \o/ the only thing that was disappointing was the lack of spontaneous hair-growth on the Maou's behalf.
Junjou Romantica season two was finally released as well, yay! I was so thrilled over that! I mentioned its release to Charlie as well last night over MSN and she got to downloading it right away. So, we actually watched it 'together'. Haha! I forgot just how damn awesome that series is <3 <3 Usagi and Misaki make me lol so much~ I'll need to watch it again though (![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif)
chibi_nataku you can't get out of watching it XD) since I probably only watched about 85-90% of it - due to lol'ing with Charlie at the awesome Usagi and/or Misaki moments ♥ I so can't wait to see how season two goes \o/
I've also got episode 4 of Dexter and episode 100 of Kyou Kara Maou to watch, but I'll save both of those series until the weekend, me thinks.
Anyway, it's time for work!
